Should you have lost your passport while in Cameroon you will have to report this to the police. The police in Cameroon you will issue you with a case number and a card for the High Commission which shows that you have reported the lost or stolen passport. You will need to contact the High Commission and apply for a new passport. You will need to also give them the police case number to process your passport. This does take a while and they will issue you with a new passport or a temporary travel document.

If you need documents notarized you will again need to make an appointment for this. Ensure that you have the documents correct. Also understand what documents can and cannot be notarized. Consular Assistance 

If you are getting married in Cameroon you will need to prove that you are single. Firstly you will need make an appointment at the High Commission to apply for a letter of no impediment. This takes a while and they will tell you when to return to collect the letter. Now you will need to have it translated and certified. Once this was done you can use it in Cameroon to get married. Now have that translated and use that marriage registration in Cameroon for a Canadian spouse visa.

If you have birth in the Cameroon and need to register the child. Collect all you documents and have them translated and certified. Then make an appointment with the High Commission and apply for the child registration. You will need to make an appointment and take the birth documents, translated and certified. Also your Canadian passport and the child have to be taken to the High Commission of Canada in Cameroon
