Canadian Consulate in Macedonia

If you have lost your passport while in Macedonia, you will need to contact the Canadian Embassy in Serbia for assistance. The reason for this is the the Consulate does not have a passport service in the country. You will still need to report the passport as lost or stolen to the local police, You will need the case number for the reported loss and provide this to the Embassy. Check with the Consulate as they might issue it from there for you, and application might be done from there.

Consular Assistance

If you are looking at getting married, then you need a letter from the Consulate to state that you are single. You cannot register your marriage in Macedonia without this letter. This letter will need to be translated and certified for the Macedonian authorities. Once your letter has been verified you will need to then register your marriage. From there the opposite it true. You will need to take the marriage certificate and have that translated and certified for the Canadian Consulate. You can now apply for a Canadian spousal visa for your new spouse to return with you to Canada.

If you gave birth you can register the birth at the Consulate. You will need all the documents for the birth such as the local birth certificate and have this translated and certified. Also you will need to complete the application forms and then submit the needed documents and forms. You have then registered a Canadian born abroad in the country.
