Canadian High Commission in South Africa

Canadian EmbassyIf you are in South Africa you will find the Canadian High Commission in the city of Pretoria. There is also a Canadian Consulate in Cape Town if you are in the Western Cape. If you are in need of a passport then you would have to contact the High Commissioner in Pretoria as the consulate do not offer a full service.

The Canadian Consulates provide consular assistance, notarial services and passport and citizenship application forms to Canadian citizens. Consulates do not issue passports or respond to questions about immigrating to Canada or Canadian visas. You will also note that there is a Canadian Consulate in Durban if you are in Natal. The High Commissioners is located in Acadia Street which is easy enough to find as all the foreign Embassies are located in it. If you can find the Australian High Commission in South Africa then the Canadian Embassy is even easier as it is very close to Hatfield Station in Pretoria. See the map below.
